Bellis perennis is a homeopathic remedy used for SPRAINS - BLUNT TRAUMA (animals that have been hit by a car) and MUSCULAR STRAINS.
This remedy is indicated in all kinds of trauma where Arnica does not completely heal.
These animals, like those needing Arnica, do not want to be touched because of the pain.
Bellis is a deeper-working remedy than Arnica. This remedy is botanically related to Arnica, and its use is very similar. Its primarily used for post traumatic conditions. It is especially useful for deep pain, bruising and pain in internal organs. For example, when an animal has been hit by a car, consider giving Arnica first then Bellis later.
Sprains and strains in the Musculoskeletal system. Bellis is very beneficial in strengthening the muscles of the back. Sometimes, the pain at just one particular vertebra of the back can change an animals gate and make walking difficult. Bellis significantly benefits this condition. Bellis is very useful in the treatment of injury to the spine and inflammation of the nerves. Hypericum is a very special remedy for treating pain at the coccyx (coccalgia). When given with Bellis or Arnica, its beneficial effect becomes more pronounced. The symptoms of Bellis intensify by exposure to cold air or cold water.
Postpartum Pain. It should be routinely given after the birthing process, as it has a great affinity for the female pelvic region. A 200c dose right after, is extremely healing for the trauma and bruising of the birth canal. It also brings back the muscle tone of the uterus.
